The Secretary General of the United Nations convened an SDG Action Weekend to maximize the impact of the SDG Summit. The Action Weekend provided a platform for stakeholders, UN entities, and Member States to convene at the United Nations Headquarters and set out specific commitments and contributions towards driving SDG transformation between 2019 and 2030. The aim of the Action Weekend was to foster collaboration and generate opportunities for all parties to work towards achieving the SDGs. The commitments made during the Action Weekend were crucial in accelerating progress towards a sustainable future for all.
