Water for Mirebalais City, Haiti

In 2017, I was part of an organization that partnered with Sawyer.com, a company that specializes in water filtration technology, to distribute water filters to the city of Mirebalais in Haiti. It was a great opportunity to be part of an initiative that aimed to provide clean and safe drinking water to the residents of the city and improve their overall health and wellbeing. Our goal was to address the water crisis in Haiti, where access to clean water is limited and often contaminated by harmful pathogens.

They have developed innovative and affordable water filters that can remove harmful bacteria, viruses, and protozoa from contaminated water sources. Their filters are easy to use and can be deployed quickly in emergency situations or in areas with limited access to clean water.

During the initiative, we distributed a significant number of Sawyer.com water filters to the community, and the impact was evident. Families were able to access clean drinking water for the first time, which had a positive effect on their health and wellbeing. The partnership between our organization and Sawyer.com was a successful collaboration that made a meaningful difference in the lives of many people in need.
